Henk and Sonja have decided to move to Eilat in Southern
Israel for a couple of months, to relax and slow down from many years
of hard work, to dive, to get Sonja's feet warm, and to work in a more
relaxed pace with time for study.

Abandoning the customers was not an option, so a cooperation
was arranged with a colleague in the town of Zwolle. The stocks have
been packed, the racks emptied and disassembled, and together with all
the equipment transported to Zwolle in our mini van plus a rented trailer.
|
The house we rented from Dror has no furniture, so our
first visit was to Ikea in Netanya. It's true: the sign says Ikea in Ivriet
(Hebrew).
|
The MPV (Kia Carnival) we rented in Peta Tikva was filled
to the rim, and a little more, with 2 mattresses on the roof, 5 crates
with equipment, 2 suitcases, 2 flight cases, a bag with diving gear, and
all small stuff from Ikea.
|
Just a part of our luggage: the 5 crates with electronic
tools, parts and models, books and diving gear. The 2 flight cases each
had a laptop computer. The total weight we took to the airport was over
180kg. And no customs problems neither in Holland nor in Israel:
MAZAL!!!

A picture down the road to Eilat, before entering
the Negev desert: huge bushes with Mimosa in full bloom, in Holland
they cost a fortune just for a small piece of a branch.
